Job Vacancy: Motorcycle Technician

Role Overview:
As a Motorcycle Technician at Johns of Romford, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing motorcycles to manufacturer standards. Your role will involve working closely with our service team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer satisfaction. Whether it's routine maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, or conducting major repairs, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customers' motorcycles in peak condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on motorcycles.
  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct inspections and road tests to assess the performance of motorcycles.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components.
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within agreed timeframes.
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to customers as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician, with a strong background in motorcycle maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers.
  • Relevant qualifications/certifications in motorcycle mechanics or a related field.
