In 2011 the Suzuki GSR750 was launched and since then we have grown to love the punchy, GSX-R750 based naked street bike. In turn it has been one of our best sellers over the past 5 years. Sadly, all good things have to come to an end and the it was no different for the GSR750 as it’s days were numbered as last year Suzuki announced it was discontinuing the bike at Intermot 2016.
However, in the same breath Suzuki announced it was replacing the bike with a new model for 2017: GSX-S750. We have had the bike in stock for a few weeks now and we think it is a great replacement and builds on the legacy of the GSR750. They have added Low RPM assist and Easy (one push) start as well as torque controls and a new aggressive styling. They have also produced a matt black Phantom edition which really is a nice looking, very stealth machine! Available from £7,699 at the time of writing.
We have been luck enough to road test the new bike and we filmed a quick video to show how it handles in the lanes of Essex. Enjoy!
